When does the Gear Trade-In event start, and how long does it run?

Trade in event starts Saturday, September 14th, 2024 and runs through Sunday, September 29th, 2024.

How do I receive a coupon for my Trade-In?

To receive a coupon towards the purchase of new merchandise, bring in your used Baby Gear to any of our stores. Gear can only be traded in at a buybuy BABY store to a store associate. All stores are participating.

What categories are included in the Trade-In?

Accepted categories include: car seats, strollers, playards, bouncers, rockers, highchairs, swings, walkers, entertainers and jumpers. We will accept all types of car seats, including: infant car seats, convertible car seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats, as well as car seats that are expired or damaged.

What is the coupon and how do I redeem it?

Customers who trade-in their gear will receive a 20% off coupon toward a select single item. Coupon is one-time use. Coupon can be applied to a single item, excluding gift cards and certain brands. Coupon is valid from Saturday, September 14th, 2024 through Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, in-store only.

Are there any exclusions for the coupon?

The coupon cannot be applied to already discounted merchandise and cannot be combined with any other promotions. Coupon does not apply to gift cards.

The following brands are excluded from promotion codes and coupons: UPPAbaby, Peg Perego, Wonderfold, Owlet, Doona, and Carhartt.

We offer free Standard Shipping with any online purchase of $49 (merchandise subtotal excludes store pick up items; merchandise subtotal is calculated before sales tax, before gift wrap charges, and after any discounts or coupons). We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories or APO/FPO addresses. 

Orders typically arrive within 5-10 business days. Items shipped directly from the vendor may have longer delivery lead times. 

Truck delivery and shipping surcharges on oversized or extremely heavy items will still apply. These charges will be displayed in the shipping subtotal of your order. When the size and or weight of your shipment exceed the limits of our parcel carriers, your item will be delivered via one of our trusted freight carriers. Due to carrier restrictions, items requiring truck delivery cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, or APO/FPO.

Terms & Conditions

The discount applies to purchases of two of the same items in the Furniture, Bedding Sets, and Baby Gear (car seats, strollers, playards, highchairs, swings, exersaucers, walkers, and baby carriers) categories only. The items purchased must be the exact same item but can be different colors.

Double strollers, twin nursing pillows, etc. are not eligible for the Twin discount.

Items for which multiple quantities are needed for a single child (for example sheets, bottles, diapers, formula, furniture
separates, etc.) are not eligible for the Twin discount.

Twin discount is not currently available on our website and can only be redeemed in buybuy BABY stores.

We offer a 10% off promotion code for new subscribers to our email list on their first purchase. The email address must not already exist within our email list.
